Who are we?

Our Partners

We are consultants for planning, development processes, and communication in the field of sustainability and human emergence.

Besides, we have worked for several years in the field of personal development and consciousness training. This creates a remarkable synergy
for managing integral projects.

It allows us to effectively stimulate our clients’ awareness, school their perception and train their ability to act. It also

Mission Statement

Our projects are set at local, regional, and international level with the intention to foster the improvement of both natural environments and human life conditions as one unseparable whole.

With our services we seek to contribute whole-heartedly to a fully awake and sustainable human existence.

facilitates considerably our own self organisation and development as an aligned team.

In 2003, it was a natural step to take the integral approach aboard. Since then, we have been applying it with increasing success in various fields, especially in cross-cultural multi stakeholder processes, when effective centre of gravity communication is crucial to good results.

In the core team we are two: Anne Caspari, Environmental Planner from Basel, Switzerland, and Karin Rometsch, Communications, from Berlin, Germany. According to requirements, we collaborate with our appreciated partners (right hand side).

Dipl. Ing. Anne Caspari holds an MSc in nature conservation and environmental planning from Hannover University, Germany.

She has since worked in the field of biodiversity, landscape ecology, strategic planning in many national and EU projects, living in Germany, London, Rome and Brussels.

In 2000 she moved to Rome, Italy, where she started working also on personal development and consciousness training (Avatar®, www.insight-avatar.net). Since then she has been delivering courses in Germany, Italy and Holland and the UK.

For five years she taught Landscape Ecology and Environmental Planning at Rome University “La Sapienza” as a private lecturer, before she started teaching in 2007 topics such as Sustainability, Business Ethics, and Leadership at the European School of Economics in both Rome and London.

In 2004 her work in personal development led her to Wilber's integral framework. This finally and satisfactorily combined her work on exterior environment and the much needed interior work on belief management and collective value systems, especially when dealing with cross cultural multi stakeholder projects, and led to the foundation of MindShift together with Karin Rometsch.

She currently operates from Basel, Switzerland, and is enjoying very much the refreshing presence of a big river to swim in, clean air and marvellous landscapes after having lived in big cities for decades. Other than this, she still enjoys Italian food, Tango Argentino, horse back riding, landscapes, anything integral, applying Avatar a lot, and, yes, travelling.

Karin Rometsch, Berlin, holds a Master degree in Geography and German Philology and a postgraduate degree in Public Relations. In 2002, she started with consciousness training and was intrigued by Ken Wilbers Integral Theory and Don Becks Spiral Dynamics Integral.

Working in Public Relations in different lines of

business since 1992, she then started to implement integral paradigms in her work.

In a co-creative process, Karin established together with Sonja Student and Petra Frassa the “Integrale Initiative Frankfurt/Main”, a host of integral seminars, lectures and conferences. It was renamed in German Integral Academy” (DIA) and is now the leading German provider of education in integral subjects.

In 2006 she and Anne Caspari founded Mindshift Integral Planning. Both were sharing a deep interest in both consciousness training and Integral Theory for years. Living in different European cities - Frankfurt, Berlin, Rome, Brussels, Basel - they decided to create an internet platform for sharing integral ideas and projects not only with each other but also with people who might be interested in their work.

Karin writes articles and books, provides consciousness training and personal coaching, designs and organises cultural events.

In her free time, she practices meditation and sings in an award-winning chamber choir. Karin is also a certified hospice caregiver and sometimes volunteers to help with terminally ill patients.
